Seribu Islands Tourism Promoted to South Korea

To attract more local and foreign tourists, tourism sector in Seribu Islands keeps being enhanced and promoted. Some time ago, the government had promoted it on ASEAN Korean Future Oriented Youth Exchange Program, South Jakarta.

By presenting and discussing it to the college students in the event, is hoped can attract them to visit to Seribu Islands

Such promotion was done by Andi Hakim (27), one of alumnus of Gajah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta. He was born in Tidung Island, South Seribu Islands. He displays the island beauty through brochure and visual video to South Korean citizens.

"By presenting and discussing it to the college students in the event, is hoped can attract them to visit to Seribu Islands," he expressed, Wednesday (2/10).

Flat for Seribu Islands Should Not Disturb Tourism Aspect

According to him, citizens and students who attended were enthusiastic and amazed by the beauty of Seribu Islands.

"We had the opportunity to introduce the Betawi traditional clothes, where every country introduced their regional clothes as well as art and culture performance in the event," he disclosed.
